Our mission.
  • Empower diverse communities through new skills and experiences.

  • Improve well-being.

  • Provide artistic opportunity where it’s lacking.

  • Support artistic participation, progression, or creation.

  • Provide inclusive, accessible learning experiences.

  • Build community integration through artistic participation and creation.

Our work

We can provide workshops, run group activities, facilitate masterclass opportunities with industry experts, organise Panel-led debates, provide experiential and participatory theatre making, special events and festivals.

At our community play readings we invite community members to read a play, in front of a live audience, sitting alongside professional actors and supported by musicians and specialist performers. Our first Well Played event ‘Execution Of Justice’ featured special guest, writer Emily Mann, speaking in person, and was a celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture and history. This event-type can be adapted to many spaces and has previously featured free community meals, panel-led discussions, Drag hosts and spoken word poetry. Actors involved on ‘EOJ’ included Nina Wadia, Marc Elliott and Joseph Rodriguez.

Who we are.

Well Played Artistic Collective is based in West London. We are a registered CIC, helmed by Anthony Biggs, former artistic director at Jermyn Street in the West End and The Playground Theatre in Latimer Road. We put community at the centre of everything we do.
